Not sure which one you need? Check the faucet — it tells you which filter is due. The F2 comes up twice as often as the F1A.

Drinking water: what the light and the beeping mean

The beeping is a reminder, not an emergency.

Yellow light — roughly 15 days or 40 gallons left, and it beeps twice when you dispense water
Red light — the filter is expired and beeps continuously while the water runs

Keep using it while it's yellow. Order then, so the new filter is on hand by the time it turns red.

Not a do-it-yourself job: the system is outside, the housings need a wrench, and the O-rings need lubricating properly or they leak. Our service tech comes out every six months. You don't need to be home.
